Terms of use
The principles for using Calendays on Mac and iPhone.
Last updated: September 14, 2026
What Calendays does
Calendays is a personal calendar for saving moments, writing a journal, and looking back at your days. Its content comes from what you enter. Mood and sleep indicators reflect your personal impressions.
Trial and purchase
The 14-day trial gives access to the app’s features. Afterwards, you can still read and export your data; adding or editing content requires a licence. Your purchase covers the major version you buy on Mac and iPhone, including its minor updates. A future major version may be a separate, optional purchase. You can keep using the version you bought indefinitely.
Your content
You remain in control of the moments, journals, and other information you add. You can edit them, export them as JSON, and delete them in the app.
Backups and sync
iCloud sync is optional and depends on your Apple account and services. Automatic local backups must be enabled in settings. Keep backups or exports of your memories, particularly before changing devices or replacing your data.
External calendars
On Mac, Calendays can read system calendars with your permission. These events remain separate from your moments. You can use an event’s title and date to create a moment in Calendays.
Privacy
The Privacy page explains data storage and optional sync. It is linked at the bottom of every page.
App updates
Features may evolve through updates. The date above indicates the latest revision of this page.
