First swim of the year
Tue, Jun 2 — Calendays

The same Tuesday. Two memories.

A whole year. One look.

No archives to dig through, no pages to reread. The Year view shows everything that mattered in one block: the month everything sped up, the quieter summer, the week of firsts.

2026214 moments

This is not a journal.

No blank page waiting every evening. No prompts, no streaks to maintain, no guilt on empty days. A moment takes five seconds to keep — and when a day deserves more, the page exists. It never demands.

STEP 1Click a day

Today, or the one from three weeks ago you don't want to lose.

STEP 2Pick an emoji

🌊 🎂 🎻 — the shortest language in the world for saying what it was.

STEP 3Name the moment

“First swim”. That's all. The day stays lit.

Little, on purpose.

Calendays does few things, and does them calmly. Everything else was refused.

Mood & sleep

Two discreet dots a day, from 1 to 5. Trends, not a medical tracker.

Free-form journal

One page per day, no imposed structure. Optional, always.

Discreet mode

⌘B blurs the whole screen. Your life is yours alone, even in an open space.

Search

“swim” is enough to find June 2 — even three years later.

People

Mention who was there with @. Every moment with Lou, in one list.

JSON export

Your data leaves whenever you want, in a readable format. Never a hostage.

Your iCloud. Not our servers.

Calendays lives on your Mac and your iPhone, and syncs through your private iCloud account — if you turn it on. We have no servers, on purpose: nobody can read what we don't host.

No account

No sign-up, no email, no password. You download, it works.

Opt-in sync

iCloud sync turns on only if you want it. Otherwise everything stays on the device.

Zero tracking

No analytics in the app — or on this site. Nobody watches you remember.

€39. Once. Yours forever.

Honest questions, honest answers

How does sync work?

Through your private iCloud account, and only if you turn it on. One iCloud account = one dataset, shared between your Mac and your iPhone. Nothing passes through us: we have no servers.

Is my data encrypted?

On your Mac, the database is a local file protected by macOS's defenses (FileVault encrypts the whole disk). In sync, your data inherits Apple's iCloud encryption. We'd rather tell you exactly that than let you assume more.

What if I lose my Mac?

If iCloud sync is on, install Calendays on another device and everything comes back. Otherwise your macOS backup (Time Machine) protects you — backing up the device is your responsibility.

What about iPhone?

Calendays is on the App Store, and the iPhone app is included in your license. One license, both your devices.

What machines does it run on?

An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer), and an iPhone running iOS 17 or newer.

I bought Calendays 1 — do I pay again?

Upgrading to Calendays 2 costs €19. And if you skip it: Calendays 1 keeps working indefinitely, with no restrictions and no nag screens. You bought software, it's yours.

What happens when the trial ends?

After 14 days the app becomes read-only: you can browse and export everything, but not add anything. Buying reopens it all — your data never moved.

What if I want to leave?

Full, documented JSON export, anytime, in two clicks. Your memories are nobody's hostage.
